How accessible this website is

ALERRT is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below:

  • There is a lack of focus on certain menus and the biography sections when navigating using the keyboard
  • Accordion (expanding section) arrows are not accurately identified on some screen readers
  • Invalid login details are not announced by the screenreader
  • The menu on the mobile version of the website is not fully accessible
  • you cannot modify the line height or spacing of text
  • Older PDF documents are not fully accessible to screen reader software
  • Not all videos have captions
  • some of our online forms are difficult to navigate using just a keyboard

We are working to address areas where our accessibility needs improvement.
